ICAN 2012 MALLORCA, on 29 September in Paguera

ICAN Triathlon has closed a historic agreement to extend its presence in the Balearic Islands, but at the same time, offer new incentives to athletes who want to participate in the edition of 2012. After much work, ICAN organitzation can now confirm that the 2012 edition will be held on Saturday September 29 with an important new.

But the whole device and  organization will move this time from Palma to Paguera area known as a resort of Calvia in Majorca, where we can enjoy the beaches, hotels, apartments, hostels and guaranteed sunshine and good weather most of the year.

Paguera is located southwest of the island of Mallorca, an ideal place for outdoor sports, enjoy your holiday, stroll along the promenade of Paguera incredible, linking the various resorts of Calvia, and of course, enjoy Mallorcan sunshine and gastronomy of the area.

For if the Mallorcan coastline is impressive, whatever the littoral island we visit, since then the region corresponding to the municipality of Calvia not detract at all this fame. With 54 miles of coastline full of beautiful beaches, delightful beaches and deep blue waters which have been achieved international recognition, this town welcomes its territory to one of the most attractive tourist spots in the area: Paguera. This small town has become a favorite for tourists from other parts of Europe, especially Germany, although visitors from Britain are also common. The privileged micro climate, protected by the beautiful Sierra de Tramuntana, he allied with the beauty of the coastal environment and to convert Paguera in a perfect place for a holiday but also to celebrate the ICAN Mallorca 2012.

Andratx, Sierra de Tramuntana or Calvía are some of the places it will be a demanding tour and triathletes should put all their preparation arena. The Hotel Association of Paguera  and all local and regional institutions have turned to the holding of a third edition of ICAN Mallorca which surely will also mark a before and after the triathlon in our country. Both the municipality of Calvia Andratx as belonging to the recent announcement of the Serra de Tramuntana as UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the bike course  will take place, a memorable and unique world experience.
